Venues
Yo all Freeeriders out there! The three shots from Yesterday are from the Hanging Valley Headwall. Parts of the venue are in great shape, others are not holding any Snow. We have had 36 inches of snow this week with plenty of windload.
The following pics are from The Burn Cliffs Final Venue Of the Stihl Colorado freeride Championships. This venue Is in sick shape Caked from all of the windloading and not sloughing any snow. Let's all get Fired Up! Less then a month til the start of The North American Freeride Tour.

Freeride Comp Registrations open
Snowmass and Crystal Mtn. Freeride comps are open for registration. Conditions could not be better at Snowmass, and Crystal has been getting killed. Stay tuned for updates of pics on Snowmass and waiting for a view of the SilverKing Venue. Let's bumrush these contests bring big numbers and show everybody what Freeride Snowboarding has progressed to.

World Freeride Tour Mammoth Quest Day 1


Day 2 of the comp put the riders back on the Hemlocks. Having been torn up by over 90 competitors, the landings were hard and the chutes skied out. Almost 100 would try to move on to the final including 28 men and 8 women snowboarders. The level of competition was definitely raised with front and backflips, huge straight airs, And big floaty spins. In the end 12 men and 6 women moved on.

World Freeride tour Mammoth Open Qualifier


Wow What a Day for the riders of the North American Snowboard Freeride Tour! The Open on Hemlock ridge greeted 7 of our riders with variable conditions over 600 vert with spines rocks, cliffs and trees. 21 men were vying for 10 spots in the Quest ( 14-100 on the World Men's ranking ). The Day saw from average to spectacular with Christophe Cardinaux of Switzerland stomping a back flip from 35 feet. In the end all of the riders made it through and Adam Devargas and Lisa Ann Ruggieri stood atop the field.
